Walking down the only road I've ever known!

Wtf is it with gloss paint and masking tape did the door frames and skirting boards yesterday morning, now it's completely dry.

Just pulled the tape off and my fingers are covered in wet paint.

In fact a know a couple if ladies like that dry knickers but a wet foof

Oops slight distraction there.

So does the tape repel the wet and keep it wet, cos I'd have thought it would have aired dried in 24 hrs.

It's a very good word and I'm sure you'd need a massage at least after all that bending and stretching

I believe oil based gloss has a secondary flow, i.e. the surface looks and feels fully dry but there is still a wet layer underneath. So when you rip your tape off, you’re revealing the edge of that.

Water based gloss will usually say it dries in about 4-6 hours, whereas the last oil based gloss I used wanted 16 hours.

midlands - glasgow - islands

You can get water based gloss oil based usually stays tacky for a couple of days. Also don’t use masking tape just cut it in, sparkle
