Wtf is it with gloss paint and masking tape did the door frames and skirting boards yesterday morning, now it's completely dry.
Just pulled the tape off and my fingers are covered in wet paint.
In fact a know a couple if ladies like that dry knickers but a wet foof
Oops slight distraction there.
So does the tape repel the wet and keep it wet, cos I'd have thought it would have aired dried in 24 hrs. |

I believe oil based gloss has a secondary flow, i.e. the surface looks and feels fully dry but there is still a wet layer underneath. So when you rip your tape off, you’re revealing the edge of that.
Water based gloss will usually say it dries in about 4-6 hours, whereas the last oil based gloss I used wanted 16 hours. |
