So in the last few months of lockdown I've accidentally grown a beard. I've had some mixed reactions. It appears beards are like Marmite. Just wondering if it's time to get rid??

I've had the same thought quite a few times but had it for years and I like it so it doesn't really matter what others think. Just do whatever you think will make you happiest I say

It is your choice, don’t shave it off for the sake of others. Beards are great and also useful

100% keep! ...unless there's an opportunity to put your face where the beard isn't welcome and you really want to put it there!!

all I'd say is, google beard memes, and try and find a negative one!

I like stubble, not as keen on beards

However they seem popular with many and it's your face and up to you what you decide on.

Just shape it up. Change it up. And see how you feel in the middle between getting rid off and growing wild..

I had a beard for about four years, some would say I still do, but this is not a beard. I’m talking about a full-on beast of a thing and I loved it! It took a lot of work to keep it looking good and in shape, but it was well worth the effort. I cut it about six months ago and at first I felt like half of my face was missing but I’m used to it now. I was forever getting told that looked like Ragnar Lothbrook (yes, I have the hair too), which is no bad thing, but every man and his dog then seemed to have a beard, which is why I got rid. Personally, I would say embrace your beard, my friend It definitely ages you though! Not YOU personally just men in general!

Do what makes you feel best op!

I couldn’t cope with a big bushy one so I’ll keep my trimmed one for now, at least while it’s not all completely grey anyway.

Do as you see fit, it's your face.

Beards are very fashionable lately, though not everyone follows fashion and not everyone suits fashion.

Respect the face furniture.

If you want to keep it, keep it. Some will prefer with, others without….. there will be predominately two camps as with most things on here.

I love a beard..top tip though, keep top lip available if you want snogs which turn the women on. I have found that my lovers lockdown beard covered his lip and I couldn't get the same tingles from kissing! The scissors came out

Always do what suits you, I have had beard for over 40 years and with the exception of a rather boisterous Hogmanay party when i shaved it off.

Its now shorter and greyer, yes you get some who say shave it off but others love it, this is purely personal choice enjoy it whatever you do

It's nonsense... initially, usually, it's just someone who can't be bothered to shave ... it then gets out of hand ... just my opinion of course ... I think it's gross... just my opinion of course... don't hate on me
