Depends. Sometimes you can get a little too comfortable together and not put in the effort.
However connection you get having sex with someone you know well is amazing |

It can do. We know each other so well, I’m comfortable with him, and we continually explore our boundaries, so it’s everchanging
He knows which buttons to press, and how to get into my head.
Our connection makes the sex better too

Not necessarily. Being attentive to the other person's pleasure and aware of their reactions, finding enjoyment in their enjoyment, willing to experiment and try new things, having a sense of fun, not always taking it seriously, taking pleasure in pleasure, realising it's as much mental as physical could all contribute in making your 'performance' better. |

Absolutely.
It's like anything else if you don't practice no matter what your natural ability is, you won't be as good as someone who's doing it regularly.u |

Very much so, as with any competitive sport the more you practice the better you become, I dedicate hours a day to becoming a better love maker, I feel there are still areas I need to improve on, this afternoon I will be practicing for 2 hours on trying to insert my penis into the vagina first time, this is still an area I need to work on, my coach tells me to work on controlling my breathing more and visualise my penis gliding in first time., |

Of course it does, provided you put in the effort to get better and actually learn from it. The more you do something the more experience you gain from it.
Just doing won't make you better though. Well not much anyway. In some cases it can make you worse.
I'll leave it there because this would end up far too long. |

I’m working on my dismount. I lost a half mark from the Russian judge last time. |

"Does it? I think not. Sex is not exactly sport, is it? Doing a 100 reps doesn't make it better. Without creativity and engagement we are left with mechanics which is not enough I would say. "
But that creativity needs to be flexed also, if you are not using that creativity it begins to go stagnant just like the body itself.
Repitition is key to getting better. Even chefs and their creativity is down to doing lots of cooking and learning?
Repition is important, but only so much unless you are being open to learning from it. |

As a bloke you need those mechanics first, the basis for the creativity and engagement to flourish.
If you don't have sex for 6,8,10,12,24 months you lose a bit of it, takes a few sessions to get your form back. |

Yes this exactly. I noticed this and it's very true |

Of course it does…it’s about building your stamina and confidence up.
It’s like any hobby, the more you do it the better you become but you’ve got to work at it too. Do the same things you’ll get the same results.

No sex for a few days and I'll pop quick so yes it helps. Personally I'm not into quickie. I love a long session over many hours. Each to their own I guess |

I use to think lasting hours while fucking was the thing to do, but turns out most women I've spoke to prefer an hour at most.
Problem is when you have build up years of stamina and become semi dead inside, it takes a while to cum(for me at least anyway) |
