the correct terminology from the olden day tailors was a discreet enquiry as to whether a gentleman “dressed to the left or to the right”. Mine unfortunately from straight became bent n constricted which is a bit painful when it wont go straight when erect. Its a snapped cartlidge apparently, sadly easily remedied n repaired by removing it but its considered a bit cosmetic in the Health service so wont operate or put you at back of list b4 being seen. A year n a half heard nowt so asking for Emergency appointment due to the MH effect it has on you as a man. Fingers crossed appointment soon, its not pleasant believe me. |

Thnx, its not so much unpleasant as it still works correctly its just very uncomfortable n its the mental side where as a man its important that things are ok. No telling that it might not be the cartlidge. Until i see specialist i dont know n thats a killer. |

When soft any bend wouldn't really be apparent (unless you have had some damage, then it might). They just flap about willy-nilly.

Takes a long time to get to that point over 2 years for scar tissue to be operable and then find someone who will do it. NHS see it as cosmetic n try not to do them unless the Mental Health issue of it is a concern. IM sure privately no issues other than the cost !!! |

I think its probably a bit of genetics aswell. I've always had the same slight upward bend as far back as I can remember. And during a d*unken chat turns out my brother has the same haha
