Do u trust people who say send a pic then they say no to you

The request is probably because that person hasn’t either got any pictures at all, or no face picture. So it’s not unreasonable to ask for a picture and if you’re not interested then turn that person down.

I dont get games people play with photos. I always had a clear face picture on my profile and expected one in return. If you cant have one on your profile send with first message. Some will like you and some wont. What would the point be of someone sending a return picture if theyve already rejected you |

We have not got a face picture on our profile but have in our friends photos . When we send a message or receive a message we always send a face picture so they know who they are talking too . |

We show our faces. If they don't want to meet us, that's fine.
If they dont want to send one to us that's also fine.
.but it wont lead to a meet. |

Op you got get used to the fact women and couples hold the balance of power on here so they decide if your worth a pic but u have to send yours first in hope to receive and like I said above the chances of receiving one in return is very slim,better to get to know them casually through chat and let them make the first move or send their pic for you to reciprocate I've found |

If someone messaged me asking for a face pic, I would expect them to have attached one themselves, if they hadn’t I would not send mine.
No one is obliged to send a face pic, even if someone has sent theirs. If you aren’t interested, it’s your right to say no and to not send one. |

Ultimately you have the choice whether to send a face pic or not.
I don't send them on demand, nor do I ask for them. If I've been chatting to someone & there is a connection, & it feels like it might potentially lead to a meet, then I will send them a face pic. It's up to them whether they send one in return, I certainly don't expect it.

If I approach a person first I will send a photo and if someone approaches me first I ask for a pic to be attached.
The choice to contact someone who wants a photo is always yours - nobody forces you to message that profile  |

Its their prerogative. There is NO obligation to post or send pics.
Having said that I do know where you are coming from of course. But some people (for work and other reasons) may need to remain anonymous or not have any digital way of being recognised. As an example we've met a fairly famous TV personality via here. But she needed to hide her identity. So, yes, at 1st we were a bit "oh she's messing us about/time waster" type of gut reaction. But we ended up pleasantly surprised.
There are other things as well as pics to ascertain 'validity' or even 'trust'. We have these here fangled things called telephones these days. They're great... you can even talk to each other!  |

I think the site needs to change its way tbh too many catfish profiles on here I like what u said about friends seeing face pic in friends request maybe the site should change it to this sort of way |

I don't exchange face pics straight away, and often the people I speak to value discretion too so I tend not to bring up face pics unless we're getting along really well. I don't mind if they don't fancy me after that - I can't be everybody's type! |

We have enough pics on our profile to probably do a photo fit and know what we looked like
I think it depends on the other person as to how open we are with face pics. If you’ve only got 1 photo on your profile then we’d expect to see more of yours as we’ve got plenty so you can form an opinion easily of us.
If a face pic is sent to us and we didn’t want to pursue things we wouldn’t send ours - as there’s no point (here’s what you could have had  ) and equally we’ve had it where we’ve sent ours first and not had one back.
There’s no set rules, we just assess it as a request comes in…

But a face pic won't stop catfish, fake profiles can easily send fake face pics. |
