Most of them give you an option that says “ looking for something casual “
What is your understanding of casual in terms of relationships ....
Not clothing  
Jeans and a T-shirt replies will be unappreciated to all the comedians
To me it means no labels dating, fun , a little play if the connections right

Casual dating is different to fwb for me. As in I want to go on actual dates as well. And what makes it casual is that I know it isn’t leading anywhere realtionshippy. Only works if everyone is really honest about expectations at the outset.

Casual on a dating site to me is less than FWB - one night stands or booty calls, not monogamous, just scratching an itch.
It's all open to interpretation though, so I always made sure to be explicit about my expectations in my profile when I used those sites, then brought it up again in the first messages exchanged. Pointless wasting time if we're not on the same page. |
