First time in a week for me. I gave myself a week off as my back was playing up but have woken up very stiff and tender so I'll have to take it easy (and undoubtedly still suffer )

It's kind of evolved into cabaret with burlesque origins, because classic burlesque can get a bit samey after a while...even speaking as a fan of burlesque, you switch off after the first few dances at a show as they're all pretty similar.

Just back did 45 minutes, some running and weights. Feeling a bit tired so hopefully I’ll sleep tonight and can keep this going three or four nights (mornings) a week.

I have so much weight to loose I’ve just been contracting on cardio at the moment. I do either spin bike or cross trainer.

Once I’ve lost some more weight and I can move more comfortably I will start weight training again.

I have a bad foot as well so that puts a stop to a lot of exercises.

I love the cross trainer though as the movement is very fluid so less pressure on my body

That’s great! I have my mimimim amount but I try for more. I take my tablet and watch tv/films and that helps the time go fast.

You as well! It’s great when you start noticing changes in both body shape (I’m not weighing myself) and in being able to achieve that little bit more on the workout

I feel so much better mentally when I’ve been. I’m not expecting fast changes. And some days I really don’t feel it but something is better than nothing. Though I make sure I have rest days as well.

This is really cool. It’s so foe your mental health and well-being, to get regular exercise. I always feel fed Up and grumpy if one not done some form of Vigorous exercise per day. Even a 10 minute power walk, if that’s all there is time and space for.

It’s been quite a journey the last 2 years - losing over 3

stone in weight following a fat-phase (rugby injury) and I feel fitter and stronger than I have in 15 years.

Chest today for me 7 sets benching - 2 warm up then 5 sets of 10 reps with 280lbs

4 sets of reverse grip benching 250lbs

5 sets flat flyes with 100lb dumbbells, 5 sets of 45 degree angle decline flyes 110lb dumbbells

Don't really see the point in working arms, work chest and back hard enough and your arms will grow

I know how you feel. I’m usually the biggest in any gym I use and I have to kick my head in gear sometimes and now for the most part I just don’t care.

And home fitness totally counts!

It's very easy to get out of good habits isn't it. I was exactly the same but have been fairly consistent for 3/4 weeks now. Need to keep it up before the school holidays come and spoil my rhythm.

I finally hit 100 kg squat. Managed 5 reps after working my way to it. Want to be at 100kg x 3 for 3 sets by Xmas.

Never got into the whole gym thing,start with great I tentions but I get bored with it really easily.

I do cycling and hill running and open water swimming, so I feel I hit all the areas for fitness wise, and it's free so no monthly payments being wasted
