When you don't like the sun/heat

couple, us we him her.

I'm pretty sure I can't be the only person who is not into sitting in the sun or heat?

I'd go so far to say I hate it.

So what do you do when everyone else is baking themselves or getting lashed outside the local boozer?

I try to sit inside somewhere cool, but always have this sense of missing out on life.

Problem being I don't enjoy the sun it physically hurts me .

You are not alone. I sit inside with a fan on and don't feel like I'm missing out. I just get hot as I seem to run warm anyway (so don't feel cold unless it's properly cold).

Delightful Bliss

I suffer from heat exhaustion and sunstroke, so seek the shade whenever possible, I can still go to the pub and beach but I take a parasol to shelter under if there is no access to any shade

Another sun hater here. I have to keep covered because exposure to the sun dies horrible things to my skin.

Give me autumn anyday

I got sunstroke in Barcelona once. Middle of July and went for a walk. Managed to get back to where I was staying and threw myself into an ice cold bath.

I'm a ginger with really fair skin. I hide from the sun. Have to. I don't particularly like the heat...I get a bit crabby. Lol. All the family love the heat and sun though...I look like the miserable one.

I really don’t like it, especially this year. I love the outdoors so just seek shade

My hubby doesn't like the heat. I always want to sit in the sun and he wants the shade. We sit apart when holidaying abroad

Sensible to sit in shade. Keep yourselves hydrated. Very important.

I find shade and stay in it

I have vitiligo on my face so having a tan is not an option

Northampton Somewhere

I wouldn't say I hate it but will only sit out on a really hot day for max 30 mins. I burn quickly. I usually drink loads of water and spend a lot of time in my kitchen, coolest room in my house.

Ideally I'd be swimming in the lake in the woods back home .

Less ideally just parading nude and hope everyone is thinking it's just a fata morgana in a desert! Or the heat stroke visions.

I love sunshine, but hate heat. Anything over 18°c has me hiding away indoors.

I love sitting in the sun and the heat, but I do have my breaking point if I don’t have a pool or a water surface nearby x also I find it more enjoyable when it’s windy x

I don’t like the heat.

The only time when I like it is if I’m in a pool all day abroad, where the aircon is everywhere and definitely no working

I'm blonde so the sun doesn't agree with me, even get burnt when it's cloudy.

That been said, I appreciate warm weather more now that when I was younger

Manchester (she/her)

I enjoy it when I'm doing something in it, not just for the sake of it.

Try working in it! Just come off a 10 hour shift, 8 of them outside in +27 degrees with no a/c

Not a huge fan of it (hehe fan) as I just feel lethargic, especially when I have to work or go to the gym

Makes me tired, cranky, don't have the clarity of thought I normally do.

Must rather be cold than hot.

I like dry heat, not stupid British humidity. I burn in about 10 milliseconds so I sit under a brolly/in the shade most of the time. I use factor 50 and wear a hat. And I can't see without sunglasses! But I don't mind nice hot....

I had to cancel some events a couple of years ago when there was a heatwave. I couldn't go outside until about 7pm when it had cooled down.

I just remember all the bad sunburns I’ve had over the years and think fuck that and stay inside or in the shade.

I don’t care about keeping up with others, so never feel I am missing out by not sitting outside the pub.

Dry heat, in the shade, I can deal with that, thank you.
