Were always a go to on a weekend especially Sunday with the supplements to spend an hour or so reading through them.

Now that everything news wise is pretty much available through your phone, iPad etc etc do you still buy a physical copy of the newspaper ?

If so which one is your go to newspaper of choice

I sometimes buy an observer, being a woke, lefty, snowflake. Trouble is it’s now over £3, I just look at all that paper and think how many trees died for me to read this!

So I usually open my laptop instead.

I usually pick up a Metro on the train.

Other than that and my History mag (stop laughing) I utilise the online versions.

Prior to Covid 19 some newspapers were struggling with falling sales and falling advertising revenue.

Then along came the dreaded pandemic which for the newspaper industry was Manna from Heaven and boy are they milking it.

I used to love the Sunday papers in bed. Haven't done it in 20 years though. I feel that era has gone.

I normally buy a paper on a Sunday.. flick through the sports pages but mainly to use cleaning the windows - nothing cleans them better than old newspaper

Online for me now, possibly cause like my news easy to read and bite sized, and at the moment at least it's free.
