Day 2 and a glorious 3 games today!
After Italy’s comfortable 3-0 win last night it’s the time for WALES to start their campaign in Baku in Group A and the first games for the participants in Group B.
Predictions?
I’ll go for:
Wales 1-1 Switzerland (Group A 2pm)
Denmark 2-0 Finland (Group B 5pm)
Belgium 2-1 Russia (Group B 8pm)
Good luck to Wales and all the daffodil hat wearing Fabbers from across Offa’s Dyke, let’s hope for a positive result |

One game down, a creditable 1-1 draw for the Welsh who were a bit below par I thought! VAR got it right in this instance and disallowed a 2nd Swiss goal, so the Welsh, Swiss and Turks still have it all to play for over the next couple of games!
And call me Mr 100%
After correctly predicting 3-0 to Italy last night got the 1-1 spot on too! If only I’d put money on!
But hey, gambling’s a mugs game kids, just say no!

"To be honest i will take that 1 1 .
The swiss are a far better side .
I thought we had good spells , but we need to up our game against the Turks "
A draw is only a good result if you get something against the Turks - assuming that it will be a defeat to Italy in Rome (but hey, who knows? )
A win today and you could have possibly lost to Turkey and still qualified as one of the best 3rd placed teams, so now a positive result there is vital. To be honest I think Wales should do Turkey so fingers crossed! |

Its a good result for Cymru. Swiss faves to win the group n to go a goal down equalise v a decent team and in that heat bodes well. Every faith in them v Turkey n Italy, we dont concede many in Tournaments and have class to nick a goal. |

With the Italys looking like they'll top the group already one win will probably be enough to get through in second, Turkey will think they can beat Wales based on that performance, just not their own. |

Thank the lord Eriksen is conscious and alive.
Never felt so sick watching a football match ever.
Such a relief and what an amazing response by the medical staff.
This was a banter account, I don’t feel like bantering tonight but beyond happy he seems to have pulled through. |

"Danish FA say the game will RESUME at 8.30pm!?!
No way, how can the players be in the right headspace for that!?! "
That’s 8.30pm CET so 7.30pm UK time |

Apparently all the players have asked for it to be resumed but I was wondering the same.
It has to be looking good for him though otherwise they wouldn't continue. |

Yes, assume now they know he’s awake and responsive again then they probably want to get this concluded. Wonderful job by the medical teams! |

Full time in the Denmark / Finland game and its 1-0 to the Finns in an upset, on a night that the result of course is secondary to the other scary events on the field earlier. Fair play for carrying on, it couldn’t have been easy for either team |

A born again Christian.? No? Too soon?
Did anyone try and watch the scotland game? Having seen England and Scotland... I hope Wales bring something more to the table or the Brits representation will be limited to hosting pretty soon.
