I get ours delivered.. it's funny how you jump straight to lazy. What if you have a busy schedule, can't get out the house or don't have access to a car. Delivery service is great for people who need it

Don’t be so pedantic it’s clearly a question on whether people still shop in store or get delivery. Why you woken up in such a bad mood?

It’s not lazy to get a delivery. A lot of people are still trying to protect themselves from covid. As I’m over 28 weeks pregnant with additional health concerns it’s recommended that I stay socially distanced at all times and that's hard to do in a supermarket

I alternate as I tend to buy too much junk food when I go in myself! Delivery/click and collect gives greater control plus gives me the time to make the gym that day instead of waddling round the supermarket. I make better decisions when I'm relaxed at home. I'm.on the autism spectrum so prefer to shop when it's quiet and wear headphones so I can listen to stuff I like. Also prefer to scan as I shop to reduce interactions as well as the bloody stupid faff of unpacking everything you just put in your trolley, only to scan quickly and put it back in again

No time for trolls. In that opening statement, where’s the question mark? No where, no question. Then does it end in a statement that’s inaccurate? Yep. So it’s a statement

Well everyone else in here seems to be answering the question is only you bring the pedantic child complaining that he didn’t use a question mark.

Get back to bed and wake up in a more friendly mood

I just want to clarify when I do a forum thread like this I literally speaking to Google so when I say? Sometimes the question mark will show and sometimes the question mark will not show it wasn't a a statement it wasn't to have a go about people being lazy or anything like that full stop anybody that watches my videos over the past I've been one of those people that have talked about mental health and how it affects people about going out and doing what they used to do on a daily basis. So I don't want anyone to get the hump with this forum thread

All I wanted to see was if people actually go to a supermarket and buy things or do they rely on Deliveries there's nothing wrong with you you do that and there's nothing wrong if you go into a supermarket it was just a simple question.

I've never done one. I like the idea of it, but I get my favourite foods from so many different supermarkets, I wouldn't know which one to choose.

I prefer to shop in person, I like to see what I’m buying fruit and veg wise.

If I’m going on holiday in the uk, I’ll do an online shop and have it delivered to my cottage/rental place. It’s one less thing to have to do then.

I go to the shop as I'm too lazy to do the online order in time for when i need it and i can never get a slot

I also can't cope with substitutes.. I once had 8 boxes of cat food, which contained 44 pouches each (352 pouches in total) subbed for 8 individual pouches by tesco

Bit of both

Delivery was a real help recently when I was unable to drive due to injury and for my parents isolating over covid times so don't just jump to lazy

We live in the arsehole of nowhere so we drive 50 min to our nearest supermarket.

Our nearest response is 90 min away (driving at speed limit)

I always go in person. I did try a delivery once though. All the microwave meals I ordered had that days use by date on them and one had been subbed for something I didn't like!
