10. Red, yellow, black, blue., green. I would assume that they represent the 5 parts of the world, not sure if the colours have any significance. Maybe something to do with flag colors?

The Great War was the first time the Games were cancelled. WWII for the other two.

no.14... the swimmer taking a bong was a mr michael phelps.. he took it at a frat party at the University of Michigan and was silly enough to get caught by a picture taken...

3. Silvio P. Cator won silver for Haiti in 1924. What is the link to the 2012 Team GB Olympic winners? Haiti issued a stamp in his honour

4. What year were women first allowed to compete? 1900 - it was considered unattractive and impractical when the Games first started.

5. Who was the first woman to win a gold medal – year, city, and her nationality? Charlotte Cooper - 1900, Paris, British. Gold for singles tennis and a second gold for mixed doubles.

6. Who was the first black woman to win gold and in which year? Alice Coachman, 1948 – High Jump

7. The first Asian man to compete was Norman Pritchard. What did he win and when? Silver – 200m and 200m Hurdles

8. In which year did the People’s Republic of China first participate in the Olympics? 1952

9. The first Asian country to compete was Japan. What was the year? 1912
