10. Red, yellow, black, blue., green. I would assume that they represent the 5 parts of the world, not sure if the colours have any significance. Maybe something to do with flag colors? |

no.14... the swimmer taking a bong was a mr michael phelps.. he took it at a frat party at the University of Michigan and was silly enough to get caught by a picture taken... |

because the IOC refused to ban new zealand after the All blacks went on a rugby tour of south africa, and thus breaking the ban on apartheid |

3. Silvio P. Cator won silver for Haiti in 1924. What is the link to the 2012 Team GB Olympic winners? Haiti issued a stamp in his honour
4. What year were women first allowed to compete? 1900 - it was considered unattractive and impractical when the Games first started.
5. Who was the first woman to win a gold medal – year, city, and her nationality? Charlotte Cooper - 1900, Paris, British. Gold for singles tennis and a second gold for mixed doubles.
6. Who was the first black woman to win gold and in which year? Alice Coachman, 1948 – High Jump
7. The first Asian man to compete was Norman Pritchard. What did he win and when? Silver – 200m and 200m Hurdles
