Would you hide after viewing a profile

Hey ladies and gentlemen
Would you have a look at someone’s profile and then hide your profile/block them afterwards?
I seem to get it quite a lot where someone will look and then when I try to have a look back they have their profile hidden. Very frustrating in my opinion but what’s everyone else think about it ? |

Palezy2 it is very frustrating isn’t it. I don’t know why they do that kind of thing. It’s quite bizarre that they would send you a message and not have a pic for you to see and a bio to read through to take your attention |

true but you can’t even look without the site supporter status. I guess they have their reasons for being hidden, if they wanted to meet or chat I imagine they’d message.

Hi Op, I have blocked those that I find aren't my type to avoid them stumbling across mine, messaging and then potentially pestering me for a reply but I don't hide my profile.
That's come from a time guy messaged me and was really nasty because I didn't reply to his message saying to me he remembers speaking to me on POF and I apparently got angry with him when he mentioned sex and he knew I was pretending not to be a cheap slut
I knew he was lying as I never used that site fully but it's because of that I won't have anyone talk to me like that as much as I can avoid xx |

Lol good try. Takes me a lot to get paranoid and I don’t take it personally as I understand everyone has their own preference what they’re looking for so it’s more of a frustrating ocd thing for me I think lol |

Exactly and its people like that who can spoil it for others.I think its hard for most not to paint others with the same brush.
Alot become either a nuisance or nasty because they don't get a reply or are told not intrested and I'm sure if it was outside of fab they would accept that gracefully. It's really annoying that alot use a screen to hide and act of character. Everyone is still a real person on these social media platforms whether they show their identity or not.
The trolling behaviour is just unacceptable xx |

Just because someone has looked at your prifile, it doesn't necessarily follow that they will want to meet you.
They may decide you're not for them after having viewed you.
If they did, surely they'd drop you a message |

Keep an eye on your viewed number.
Let's say for argument sake (on the app) you have 101 views and this goes back to 100 and up again to 101. If this happens a bit someone is viewing you, blocking you then unblocking you again and so on.
You need to find that person and permanently block them so their game is stopped  |

It's possible and likely the profile was already hidden when they looked at your profile.
They could choose to look for several reasons, via the forum or updates section as examples.

This is the reason I look in ninja mode as I don’t want everyone I look at the assume I’m interested in them when it’s usually just because I’m a nosy cow |
