Did anyone used to try and sneak in to the cinema to see an 18 rated movie as a kid? Back in the day it was a novelty to see all that swearing and violence, especially when the tv channels used to put out edited versions of movies with Eddie Murphy calling people mother suckers, earholes etc. My favourite was "You funked my wife you earhole". Nowadays even horror movies are 12 or 15 rated. I can't remember the last 18 rated movie I've seen at the cinema. On the flip side though all my games are now 18 rated whereas the the most violent it got on the Mega Drive was Streets of Rage. |
