So a friend offered to get some dildos for me, but wanted to send them to a pick up spot rather than my home as I don't live alone
I wondered if anyone has any experience buy toys on Amazon? No reviews for anything I can find, sellers could be anyone and I don't want something rubbish or unsafe.
Wasn't sure whether to put this here, but some advice would be welcome! Thanks guys |

Places like Morrisons, train stations and the like have big yellow amazon lockers at the front doors. So nothing could be easier. Just choose which locker location you want to use. Safe, subtle and simple to use.
I've just picked up a white envelope from Anne Summers for my partner. Click and collect is great, as you don't have to worry about being carded by the postie. |

Hey thanks for the replies guys!
I was more looking if anyone had any experiences buying from Amazon, mainly because I can't really verify any products so didn't want to be buying anything unsafe, like poor materials etc
But I will definitely check if bondara/LH have a click and collect near me though, for some reason I didn't even consider it aha |

I work in Amazon and just to reassure you about your purchases, the person handling your item doesn’t see your name and address. I pick the item, sometimes pack the item but only when the item is boxed or bagged does it go further down the line where your name and address will get stamped on it.
So for example the big rubber fist that I just packed, I wouldn’t see the address label and see that it’s going to mr Jones down the road.
Also when purchasing you will get a warning saying this item comes in its own packaging which discloses what is inside please tick the box if you would like it packed.
Most if not all items of a sexual nature would be packed in normal Amazon packaging.
You can choose to have it posted to an Amazon locker which if you put your postcode in it will tell you where your nearest one is. Once it’s been taken there you get a code to open up the locker to get your item. |

They have a special adult site. If you search for vibrators it says we’re hiding some items visit the sex and sensuality store which then takes you to the adult content and toys.
All vendors are continually assessed to confirm their products are a high standard. Customers are asked to give star ratings on their purchases and also any items returned that are sold through vendors are constantly monitored and if they aren’t performing their items won’t be sold through Amazon anymore.
Plus if you do buy something you’re not happy with you get full refunds on return of the item and no questions asked. |

This needs to be seen by those unsure and need reassuring. |

I’ve had stuff off Amazon without any issue. But they were delivered directly but no one would know it wasn’t anything but a normal Amazon parcel. |

I was wondering the same thing, just bought some adult equipment of Amazon and thought it may show through the box or something
Ordered to pick up at a locker. |

I've ordered plenty of things from Amazon and you wouldn't have any idea what they were from the packaging.
They do sell love honey items, but most things have reviews. I just got the bed geek "massager" it's very good! And you can always send things back easy enough if they're not suitable. |

"Can't stand amazon. One of the main reasons why the high street is dead? "
But also during the last year it’s been a lifeline for people self isolating who can’t get out to the shops or some shops being closed completely.

"Ia Amazon named because the length of the river equates to the amount of walking (3,977 miles) you need to do in a single year? "
I could send you screen shots of my step tracker after each shift. I do between 27 and 42 thousand steps per shift depending on how fast I feel that night! |

There are different opinions as to how long a step is, but we estimate that on average it is about 32 inches per step. There are 63360 inches in a mile. Furthermore, 63360 divided by 32 equals 1980.
Therefore, the formula to convert steps to miles and the answer to 30000 steps in miles is as follows:
Steps ÷ 1980 = Miles
30000 ÷ 1980 ˜ 15.1515151515152
30000 Steps ˜ 15.152 Miles |

If every business moved to non facing warehouse sales, merchandising everything through tracking what you bought and targeting you with similar products, there's a vast number of people who wouldn't be leave their homes even after covid.
There's only a few things that would exist in person - sporting events, pubs/restaurants/music and some types of work? |

Totally agree, plus if you purchase from them they monitor and keep note of your purchases, not as discreet as you may think. They don`t vet the products they sell, so fakes and dodgy items get sold.
I wouldn`t trust them. |

Yeah but I don't have to interact directly with other people, so it's a trade off that I can live with. |

I worked at an Amazon warehouse for a bit. Hardest job I've ever had due to the long hours and repetition. If you're on a job that has rates to meet you're scared to go to the toilet for fear of them dropping. I still can't believe they tried to deny that they didn't know of delivery drivers going to the toilet in bottles at the back of their vans. Still, it was nice helping Santa out over Christmas. |

We’ve never bought of Amazon personally for sext toys, always been love honey. Apart from 1 “item” let’s say it’s always been good from them and we’ve both enjoyed it. Again except one toy what she didn’t like, although I do think she was being a bit obnoxious about said item. |
