Why can’t we have a distance filter?

Like c’mon it shouldn’t be that hard to implement. I try and make use of my filters as much as possible. No newbies, no non verified, no public pics and my age filter is quite narrow but other than blocking single men completely which leads to your profile saying ‘not looking for single men’ when in fact you are, plus it’s not possible to search all areas within a 50 mile radius which could lead to you missing some beauties.
A distance filter which you could set to 50 miles or 25 miles and only those within that distance can message you would be most useful.
Like guys from Scotland messaging for example want to meet it’s like yeah I’ll just get my fucking helicopter out of the garage like. |

But I'm more than 50 miles away 
To be fair I would rather they've introduced friends inbox first!
But distance filter is a good shout as some people wink me from 250 miles away  |

I wish that too. I know people travel and perhaps browse their home area while away with work but in my experience, most of the men who message me and are miles away, are looking for dirty chat or other cyber based shenanigans - which I'm not interested in and state that ony profile. |

Well I am in Wellingborough which is Fab classed as being in the West Midlands along with Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Stafford. Hardly local.

Yeah and those are the type I’d also like to avoid. I’m not a tourist attraction to visit when they come to my area.
If anyone ever says I’m in your area for so many days/weeks/months I say…actually I say nothing and just delete the message but in my head I’m saying yeah and fucking what mate. |

I would like to be able to filter out messages by distant but I live in North Devon and by their distant search I am less than 30 miles away from Swansea and Cardiff but in fact I am about 170/150 miles away.
So not a helicopter is a speedboat that is needed xx |

In an attempt to kick-start Cardiff's post-covid economy, I think the Welsh government should list you as a tourist attraction. You'd make a killing from wealthy perverts and you might just get enough foreskin to finish that terrifying dressing gown of yours... |

Yep, we get this, just the other way around. When my dad was alive both he and my (ex) in laws lived in Cornwall, often though a boat would be handy.

I do use distance when searching but also like having contacts in far away places, even if a meet is as likely as winning the lottery. I also travel a lot (or used to). I'd maybe want to filter out very local people. A minimum and maximum slider? |
