I'm always getting "meet now?" messages and it's made me wonder a couple things;
Dont these people have jobs? I definitely do!
What about hygiene and shower fresh? Unless you're THAT good, it's unlikely I've just stepped out the shower when you message.
I see it as a "i want a shag and you're close" kind of message.
Do you respond? Do you find it flattering or no? |

I just delete these types of messages. Even if I had nothing else to do but watch paint dry, I'd rather watch paint dry than meet a complete stranger at the drop of a hat. |

Nope not flattering. Leaves you feeling like you're just a piece of meat, free prostitute etc. And like you I'd worry about when they showered last.
Plus whatever happened to a bit of flirty talk beforehand to get the mood going? I love that. So meet now doesn't appeal to me at all.

As a male, I don't get them. But they sound to me like chancers who have probably searched for people nearby and tried their luck. I can't imagine they have much success with those tactics though. |

I get a lot, especially of I'm logged on during the day. They often get short shrift as I'm. Working from home.

I hate the whole meet now thing-y. I like to make effort, take my time to get ready and clean and also I love a bit of anticipation and back story…
I get it if you are in a club or something and end up having some fun. But you got ready beforehand and are already there.

It sort of has with me. It wasn't the first message though, he'd been in the same hotel once a month for ages and we got chatting after a couple of FAF messages.
