Planner or winger?

Do you plan ahead in life..or go with the flow and just wing it.

Best laid plans and all that....

If you stick to the plan, does it not leave room for experiences that you may not have had if you'd just taken a chance?

Are you a meticulous planner and don't deviate from them?

Bit of both. I do like to plan somethings to keep a handle on anxiety (and I always like to know where I'll be eating) but in general I'm a winger.

I believe things happen for a reason in life so despite the best plans you gotta go with the flow and not worry too much.

Bit of both works well... knowing the do's and don'ts...and then going with the flow

I'm a bit of a winger. I have trouble planning what I'm having for dinner

I should be more of a planer in life...I wonder of it'd too late now to change my ways

I like having plans to look forward to

And I'm a bit wary of people who are incapable of making plans

I suppose planning can help to alleviate some anxiety

I plan but can equally drop everything and change tack in an instant.

The best plans factor in eventualities and appropriate deviations. X

I was a winger until i had kids and turned into a bit of both, then had to turn into a meticulous planner when I became a single parent and that's sort of stuck now

I always plan dinner. Food is a big thing for me - comes from growing up in a family which revolved around food.

I am both... If i have too many plans i get overwhelmed.. So spontaneity is sometimes good... I think i like to feel in control perhaps!

I'm really not keen on people planning on my behalf

I like to buy all my food in one go, so generally have a menu planned for the week

Or when you have plans, invite someone else and the plans end up being completely changed

I plan but it's always many legged plan. Lots of options in case plan A, B and C fail.

It's also part of the experience. Such as planning for a holiday. And sex.

A bit of both. I plan the big stuff, then the little things tend to have me winging it.

a planner with home stuff and 100% with work... socially more wing it - when I spent the bank holiday in manchester it was massively frustrating having to book every pub / bar in advance... took a bit of the spontaneity out of the day!

I have to plan my days as they can be very busy, and people rely on me.

Yesterday I had my morning written down, hour by hour, as I was worried about being late, and making someone else late for work.

I have terrible anxiety around time constraints.

I used to become very ill if I thought I was going to be late for school or work.

It's debilitating.

A bit of both. I love organising certain things because I get such a rush from it and I also like being in control, there's less room for error that way. I also like leaving some things up to whatever it is and seeing how things go. So yes. Neither but both.

My best winging it was two nights in Paris with an ex. Just got the Eurostar there on a whim, found a hotel, ate at McDonald's and got d*unk in cafés. It was February.

La la land

I'm a bit of both, say if we want to go away I'll plan the time, travel, accommodation and if there's like an exhibit or something I want to go see. The rest I'm happy winging it and see what takes my fancy.

If she can't find one, she can always bunk with you

Same. I want to be a planner as my anxiety needs structure to stay in check and I try really hard, but I end up flying by the seat of my pants most of the time.

I'd wing it for a few nights. Go somewhere by train and just sort it out when you get there. Longer I'd have to pre-book.

Ithink that's her plan
