What is something you are both ashamed and proud of?

Mine would be over coming adversity, being addicted to tramadol. Going into rehab, spending 8 months there & then relapsing again.

I’ve been sober now a fair few years

Thankyou for the kind message, I’m ashamed in the sense of I wasted valuable time, lost many friends & family because of my actions. But it’s all part of growth, not only as a person but more importantly psychological growth too. Took me to some dark waters, but I’ve met some incredible and inspirational people a long the way! X

Secret hideaway in the pennines

I am an Recovering alcoholic, I have been dry for the best part of 30years, but this year I fell off the wagon when my life went to shit. Over the last couple of months the temptation to dive back into a bottle has been very real, but so far I have managed stay clear and try and focus on positive things, which given the current situation isn't easy

I’m ashamed that I put my career before my family. I lost everything, and became homeless.

I now have a roof over my head. Im away from that career, and slowly getting back to the person I was.

Hopefully you get back on track, I’m routing for you mate

Genuinely means a lot. Thank you.

Whilst homeless I had 3 choices for a release. Drink, suicide, or sex.

I chose fab, and from that decision, I met my Lexi. The best friend I could have ever found.
