Well, I was making zombie noises at my dog, and was trying to see how long I could breathe out for.
That made me think about taking a breath; which led me to thinking how zombies make throat noises without breathing in and out.

That made me think about taking a breath; which led me to thinking how zombies make throat noises without breathing in and out.

In reality if zombies could exist, the plasma in the zombies system would degenerate with 48 hours if the zombies were like Romero’s zombies. If you are referring to some kind of infection which made the host rabid, go to a feral state, then the survival without feeding would be longer. The first example the zombies don’t breathe as they are dead. The second example would require the host to be alive to function, so they would need t be able to breathe. But this is all fantasy. |

Not needing to breathe doesn't mean they can't take in and expel air. The lungs and diaphragm are still present. |

Well here ia how to get a definitive answer.....
Go to a swingers club with some bait, a woman in lingerie usually does the trick and for an extra guarantee of catching a zombie, release the boobs.
Wait a few minutes and one of the walking wanking zombies will soon be along and biting at your bait.
As it appears with rotted fetid zombie dick in hand, quickly cover its head in a strong polythene bag and tighten it at the neck while minding its free hand as it reaches for your penis or boobs too (you have to be semi naked to blend in in this swingers club).
At this point, get your bait to strip and dance provocatively to encourage your caught walking wanking zombie to wank furiously and hopefully either breathe heavily into the bag on their head or not.....
And now you should have conclusive proof to your question......do zombies breathe?

I’ve always wondered why they need to eat, if they are dead. Presumably their digestive system still works. And why eat brains? Wouldn’t a bowl of cereal do? |

Zombies are not dead, they are the dead coming back alive, thats why you need to go for the brain.
The brain controls everything. Some organs and muscles are awaken and some arn't.
I did a 3yr University study on zombies but we tend to call them the undead its more pc

Its because brains contain a different source of protein but they tend to eat any living flesh. Also cereal you have to get a bowl,milk,sugar and have you tried opening a weetabix packet? |
