I'll admit I've never dared go for the full shave. Given the state my face usually was when I did shave I wouldn't trust myself with a razor down there.

Plus I think it would probably look odd amongst my hairy everything else. Like a lagoon in the middle of a rainforest.

You can trim everything else back too. You don't have to leave it looking like Terry Waite's allotment just because it's an area you haven't cut back completely.

A Philips NT9110 trimmer does a grand job without resorting to a razor.
