Hot I can sort of understand because it's saying you're (not you OP, general you) are sexually appealing and that's probably based on your body matching what they see as hot.
Beautiful though? I don't understand. Beautiful to me would have to include your face. |

It's just another in a line of "easy" compliments to give for the most part - that said I do think even without the face it's possible to get an essence of hotness based on pics, profile text and interactions that can give a perception of finding someone hot - but to truly find them so I think goes beyond seeing their face and to actually meeting them, only then can you get a sense of complete appreciation and attraction that goes beyond perception. |

Bodies can be extremely hot, and if that's all you've got to go on, somebody can be hot based on available information. It's not quite as sexy to express it that way. It is true the face can potentially change that view. |

I totally agree with you. I can find someone attractive in a 'still' of them but in person by be completely unattracted. Body language, how someone talks and engages with you counts for a lot with me.

That is what hot is to me.
If it were only the physical on Fab, hot is when a profile photo catches my attention and I see more on their profile page.
When the twain meets, I become enraptured.
On Fab, I can’t say a face or body has made a difference to me yet. I see too much of the woman behind it. |

Many things to different people can make someone 'hot'. For me it can be how they've written their profile text or forum posts (or what they have written) and/or the style of their photos.
Or taking it from a different angle there might be a paucity of words in the English language in describing the feeling you get when you feel some attraction to someone (they make me feel 'hot' ergo they are 'hot').
'Alluring' might be a better word but 'hot' is used as an instant hit word. |

I think that encapsulates it. Sometimes, the ‘bits’ are just the way they’ve posted and it gets me hot enough to look closer. |

I think it does, yes. I don't know why so many people deny it.
It exists everywhere though. It's not just Fab. Any dating site, Facebook, etc.
