This post has nothing to do with strange thoughts but simply based on my recent journey into disability.
I believe I would feel more comfortable with someone in a similar position and hope we could enjoy/explore together !!! |

I had a rare form of cancer in my late teens which took until I was 20 to beat. After this, a condition in which my muscles didn’t work as a baby and required weights to get them working re activated at age 20. From this point my neurological system was badly damaged, I couldn’t balance, poor mobility, low immune system. My body essentially didn’t work properly and would have frequent seizures which would come and go, meaning I couldn’t get out much apart from being driven to and brought home from work. When I got home I would be exhausted and have no energy. Slowly I Began to retrain my body to work as it should, this was a painstaking process and has taken years to mostly make a recovery from. My left hand can’t grip items, as I can’t feel anything with. I made a decision to join fab and do things out of my comfort zone to push myself mentally. I do weights most days so my body doesn’t lose the gains I made. I don’t compare this to a disability because technically it wasn’t. Just similar. Good luck on here by the way. |
