I know someone who laughs by saying cackle cackle. I find this quite bizarre. Do you know of anybody who does this? What do they say?

Haven't come across this curious phenomenon but I always feel magpies are cackling.

No but when something is funny but not quite hilarious, I am guilty of just saying LOL

You’ve never lolled me which must mean I’m hilarious

If they intelligent ?

If they female I’d be intrigued

If they male referring to fishing tackle I guess?

If they not intelligent and talk with hash tags I’d humour them..

Is there answer to this ?

If something is really not funny but the person saying it thinks it's hilarious in a sort of insulting way I will say "tee hee" whilst rolling my eyes to the back of my head.

I do know someone who says "guffaw" instead of actually guffawing. It's been a while since I heard a guffaw though
