..ok dancer might be a strong word, but people who know how to dance in general and have rhythm (and mobility)...do they perform better sexually? My question might be a bit biased having a background in dancing , however I have always been complimented for "the moves". Not sure if there's actually a correlation between dancing and being "good in bed" and honestly after movies like Dirty Dancing and Magic Mike, it kinda became like a stereotype as well.
What are your opinions/experience ? I had one woman mentioning that she had the worst sex with a dancer , so there's definitely that, but in general, are dancers better lovers? |

What kind of dancing OP? Just being nosey.
I think having rhythm helps definitely as long as it synchronises with your partner. And years of ballet as a kid means even though I'm quite big I'm still flexible. Definitely being able to stand on tip toes for ages helps with kissing tall men lol. |

Pre covid I danced a lot. 3-4 times a week at classes and freestyle events. Mainly jive, tango and blues all "partner dances" so you learn to follow and be in touch with the other person. It becomes automatic if you've danced for some time. I'm sure it helps with sensuality and connection in the bedroom too, and with being comfortable in close contact with the opposite sex .
Really missing dancing |

"I dont believe they do. Sex isn't about how you move, it's about chemistry and a connection. Without those no matter how good a mover you are the sex is going to be crap x"
Of course, However the question relates more to sexual performance. The chemistry/connection/spark between the two should already be there at that point. |

Why should being a dancer make the sexual performance different? |

Dancers tend to have a better understanding of their own body and better mobility... at least so they say, there's always a difference between theory and practical applications. And we are talking in general terms rather than individuals |

As a female dancer, i can see it helps with my flexibility and posture but I can't really say I've noticed any difference between male dancers and non-dancers when it comes to their sex moves |

I think everyone has an understanding of their own body whatever their profession. I guess flexibility would be the only difference. |

...and mobility and probably also that they have a better understanding of how the human body moves (biomechanics) and can move, but I agree that doesn't always mean good sex |

I’ve danced for 30yrs and for me there are definitely aspects of being a dancer that help in the sexual sense, rhythm, coordination, endurance, flexibility however all of those things don’t equate to being better in bed than someone who doesn’t dance. I think dancing gives me confidence and perhaps less hang ups when it comes to just letting go with someone xx

I do modern jive and Tango. I don't know about it making you better in bed but I have found that in the dancing circles being a good dancer really dies increase a womans attraction to you.
It's a double edged sword Though, it's such a small world that if you are too much of a player your reputation suffers.

Hmm, I don't think so. Although I imagine being fit and having stamina helps in ways. I can only squat bounce on a dick for about 3 or 4 minutes until I fall over.
I think amazing sex is much more about the chemistry with the other person. Who am I going to remember more? The dancer that I met 5 minutes ago? Or the guy who fills every part of my body with lust, excitement and desire? |

I always used to think it was the case. So imagine my excitement when meeting a gorgeous woman in a Taipei nightclub, she was a fantastic dancer and she looked incredible in a matador type jacket and shirt skirt. Worst shag I’ve ever had, huge disappointment. Her fault obviously! |

"An ex girlfriend of mine was a dancer and had all sorts of issues with food and body image... wasn’t that into sex unfortunately. "
I wouldn't relate that to being a dancer, but more to showbiz or competitions...a lot of dancers are working in that industry and it is forcing them to maintain a certain image ( that's a whole other conversation) |
