The doughnut day thread reminded me...
There is a partial solar eclipse on Wednesday morning next week (10th June) starting at about 10 am.
From the UK you should be able to see the moon covering 1/3-1/2 of the sun depending where you are. Further north and west is better.
If you do want to see the eclipse you have a few days to get hold of a pair of special eclipse glasses, please don't look at the sun with your naked eyes or even with sunglasses. |
