"Got a question for you all
So what have folk been doing to kill the time?
Ive been trying not to go stir Crazy"
First lockdown I completed some online courses (and watched way too many mystery documentaries)...the rest of the pandemic I have actually been working, either from home or the office

"Working throughout and getting green with envy at all the folk whove been showing off their decorated homes/beautiful gardens/new hobbies "
This! And with kids at home too. Half wishing I was the one of those people moaning about being on their own all the time! Grass isn’t greener on either side |

Practising my ninja skills.
Throwing star's,num Chuck's, sword practice, stealth tactics, jumping, crawling, hiding in the corner and jumping out and surprising the cat.
You know regular type stuff. |

Ok.
Before the lockdown I invested in a company that makes sim racing equipment.
Soon as the lockdown began my investment grew by over 1000%.
I also started hosting online racing for leagues to use 24/7 and currently I have 71k subscribers all paying each month different rates between £4.99 a month to £19.99 for organised race events.
Friend of mine has a fabrication company and I got him into making sim rigs for sim racers. He has seen massive growth and I get 15%.
I don't expect this to continue once life gets back to normal and I will hand everything over for free once I decide to get out.

Doesn't matter. Gives someone else a chance. Plus Im expecting a lot of people to end membership's once they get back into full time work.
It's only the top drivers who earn out of this. |

Plus new games will be out and tastes change.
If you want to make money host family games which everyone can play. Keep it clean and moderated.
People will feel they are in a safe environment and pay for that.

Reason I did this was I needed money to pay for my mum's care.
I have 4 carers visiting her each day. These cost £390 a week each.
If I need someone there when I go away that's £500+ a night.
No way was I going to put my mum into care home.
So I had to do my best for her |

Care costs are extortionate. Especially when you’re not entitled to any financial help. |

I've worked it all too
As a shift worker I do get days off though, so 1st lockdown I completed a course.
I've read so many books I had 2 bags for the charity shop, I volunteer on a Helpline too (from home).
I've found I'm not in any rush to do much yet, I'm meeting a good friend next week for coffee and a good catch up. |

I had help but they were so rough with my mum I had to take responsibility.
There were times I put her through hell, now it's my time to do the right thing. |

Reading, listening to podcasts, gardening, walking dogs, setting up a Raspberry Pi computer to provide network services on the local network, helping out family with childcare. |

Last year my life wasn't much different, except, I didn't go to the supermarket as often, and I didn't visit my children.
I ate more crap though and not walking it off I put on 3 stone.
This year I started childminding a baby and I'm exhausted all the time, and busy doing my stuff at home for when I'm out of the house. |
