Had a very brief discussion about this. I say discussion. It was barely more than 2 sentences.
Do you ever forsake comfort in the name of looking good?
Obviously we all attempt and go for that sweet spot of both when and where we can. But would you ever wear something far from comfortable because it makes you look beyond better than you hoped?
Physical comfort vs visually happy with how you look wearing it.
Work uniforms or other clothing that are a requiremed to be worn do not count. |

Yup. Most nice looking shoes hurt my feet. Many bras are uncomfortable, most fancy lingerie.
There was a thread recently on a man who didn't like the results after taking fashion advice from a woman.
Beauty is pain, darling *shrug* |

How I look anyday over comfortable clothing.
If I don't think I look half decent then I wouldn't be comfortable out and about in what I was wearing.
I don't think I've ever done comfy clothes in my life it's just not me. |

Abit of both, i choose retro trainers 80s adidas sL's, or nike day breaks theyre so comfortabl and cool, jacket wise i love 'rab' the technology in the jackets is brilliant and they ubber comfy i like a coat to do the job so fabric technically is high on the list for me... it seems 'outdoor wear' is on trend atm so i could be classed as trendy, i think its important to feel good and im definitely quality of quantity and never by 'blind' i like to try the item on. |

Definitely forsake comfort for looks sometimes. Heels and some dresses when going out.
But have found a style that is both comfortable and I like so most of the time one doesn’t have to rule out the other(if that makes sense) Freya |

Sometimes I feel like giving up and just going all in for 100% comfort, but then there’s the fashion, I don’t think I could ever give you up, but those sandals and white sports socks combo do look terribly comfy, but then I do look a bad ass in my poncho and propellor hat. But then I see a pair of cargo shorts where I think they look very roomy, plus I get to carry all the things, but then I think, no one can pull of a pair of skinny jeans like me, I mean sure my plums are in tatters, but the looks I get, whether they be mocking or lusting I’m never quite sure, I think I’m very conflicted on the matter and I’m not sure there’s a common ground for comfy yet fashionable. |
