Do bi men get a rough deal on fab?

Lots of ads saying that couples will not meet bi men. Is that discrimination on the grounds of sexuality ?

.

I guess it is, but then it's up to everyone to decide who they do and don't want to meet and shouldn't feel pressured to alter how or why they choose. There a lots of people who won't meet bi men but then they are lots who will only meet bi men.

If I was bi I'd concentrate on people who want to meet me and not stress about the ones that don't, they won't have their minds changed.

Being Bi myself, We’ve no issue in meeting a bi guy especially as it will involve no contact (especially with Mr) and I won’t lie it does turn me on knowing the guy is lushing over him too...

But I guess some “straight” couples may just feel uncomfortable with it as I’ve heard some stories of guys crossing the border without permission especially in a MFM type set up

Do I have to now meet (fab) straight guys on here ? Or am I discriminating against their perceived sexuality?

I have had a bad experience with a straight guy who couldn’t deal with his own actions after he finished, so prefer not to ‘have’ to meet anyone on here who’s profile states they’re straight.

Same as some people have had their own bad experiences with those they don’t have a preference with.

Bi, trans or straight shouldn’t ever, have to explain why they choose to decide to not meet anyone of any sexuality.

No its a preference.

It would be discrimination if they treated you in an unjust way because of your sexuality, but you have no right to get intimate with them.

I think bi men do get a bit of a rough ride, but I don't think it's down to discrimination, more personal preference x

It is everyone’s right to be able to decide who they are or aren’t intimate with. As a couple with a bi male, we have come across profiles that state ‘no bi men’ and respect their choice and move on. Regardless of their reasons, it is their prerogative.

There was one profile we came across that said something along the lines of ‘no bi guys - it’s gross’ which we thought was a bit unnecessary.

Seems like simple preference, not discrimination, unless it’s expressed in a derogatory way.

The alternative is men having to engage in a scenario they are not comfortable with and that seems concerning and a bit, well....creepy.

In terms of not wanting to, no. It’s purely preference. People can meet whoever they want to and attraction is a strange beast.

Preferences are based on something though and it might point to a deeper phobic attitude.

In terms of whether bi guys are treated badly here? At times, yes. There is a stigma associated with bi guys but then bi women are hypersexualised so it’s swings and roundabouts.

I’m curious as to why you’re asking the question though OP, why it concerns you?

I don’t think it. It’s personal preference.

I do wonder what difference it makes to a MF dynamic as you quite often see ladies state they won't meet bi men.... Like, why? If he is engaging in a mf scenario what difference does it make if someone is bi or not?

What if it is? There's loads of types of people I won't meet. If that makes me homophobic, ageist, sexist, racist, etc. so what?
