ive been into Ely today, with a base ball cap on. i`ve been called mate, dude and Bruv... can i just be called sir ?

People in Ely are generally very friendly and informal. It may be a bit unusual to call a woman in her 80s in a cap 'mate' but the intentions are typically positive
