Question for specs wearers
Jump to: Newest in thread
I was told today that without my glasses i look less confident and that my glasses give me an air of confidence. I thought it was a strange thing to say i wouldnt say less confident but i do feel slightly vulnerable without them, think thats down to not being able to see properly lol. So do you feel any different with them on/off |

I can't say I do feel any different without them and can see just fine if not for a slight difference in the clarity and sharpeness of horizontal lines and edges. I just like wearing them and have dozens of pairs to choose from. |

"I look like a right geek with glasses on so I wear contacts, but I have to say that the right pair of glasses on a lady are very sexy."
I wear contacts too as i don't feel comfy with glasses on but i think thats because im not used to wearing them, if i wore them all the time i suppose id feel just as uncomfy with them off
I do wear glasses every now and again to give mt eyes a rest from the contacts but only in the house |

"I feel kinda lost without my specs
Blind as a bat and no way could I have contacts
Failing laser surgery I'm a speccy 4 eyes for life
Go for it, I'll even hold ya hand"
Might be better if you just squeezed me balls and dug them nails in at the right moment
That way I would have the true effect |

I (sm) feel less confident without mine. Thinks its just that I wore them for so long now they're part of my face. Tried contact lenses and just didn't like myself without the specs. It's like going out without a nose!!! |

I wear them pretty much all the time. I keep meaning to try contacts again though. I tried them once when I was seventeen but it took me forty minutes to put just one in and it made me late for college
I don't like wearing them and think I look better without them but I squint if I don't and that's not attractive! |

I have two very different eyes, short-sighted in one, long-sighted in the other, and need to wear glasses so that I do not wear out one or the other.
I don't wear them when I have the full war paint on for a formal function, and still see quite clearly, and be able to read the menu.
I do feel I am letting my guards down slightly without them, and I love to look at peeps over the top of my glasses, usually disapprovingly. |

"I wear specialist contact lens for my Keratoconus and specs from Tesco to read close up"
My brother has this and I when I went to be tested I couldn't remember the bloody name but he knew what I meant when I asked him if I had Kerry Katona? |
