When I went to the hairdressers, I have a cut, my roots bleached, full head colour and styled. I get a discount and it still cost me over 80 quid... It's why I stopped going, I couldn't justify it, when I do it just as well, myself

I don't like hairdressers, they talk about you behind your back.

That’s a heavy discount. The going rate for that in London is £150

Scunthorpe

Ladies often have more complex and time-consuming hairdressing, so the price reflects that.

I colour my own so just have it cut once or twice a year. It cost me £20 for a cut and blow dry last October.

I stopped having hairdressing done when the woman who used to perm my hair suggested I have a polish instead.

Darlington

Takes about 10 to 15 mins max for my hair to be cut and that's £10. Takes about an hour or more for my wife and that can cost £45 to £100 depending on what shes having done.

There a difference in prices for a reason.

She must of had a colour or something but if she did that's pretty reasonable.

I pay £45 and that's just for a wash, cut and blow dry which I think is too much. I only go 3 or 4 times a year and get free fringe trims whenever I want so...

I'm used to paying £10 but she had to retire due to ill health.
