So received a message and git chatting, asked for a phot so I sent one (face/body). The response was "well you were good looking you have ruined yourself with all those tattooes". This is stated in my profile which I explained and the politly thanked them for taking the time to chat next response was "we don't meet thugs or time wasters".

What are people thoughts on tattoes I don't think they define me and often complimented on my mannerism and hope I don't look like a thug lol.

I don’t mind a few discreetly placed tattoo’s, but not the biggest fan of a woman covered in ink.

But it’s just my personal preference and wouldn’t say no / not talk to someone over such a superficial preference.

Much more important traits / characteristics that id consider first

I wouldn't worry about it. Some will be attracted to you for the tattoos and would be less interested if you didn't have them so there's no point trying to please everyone as for every change you make to please one, you put off another

I love a man or woman with tattoos. It dosnt bother me at all and I have a few myself. If you lined up people with and without I would probably pick with tats. Everyone is different however there was no need for rudeness.

I've been judged in public due to being heavily tattooed, worst being at the local swimming pool with my daughter, the looks I got from somepeople were disgusting. Been called a thug and ruffian by a few over the years, fuck what they think!

There's definitely a nice way of saying it. So it's actually good they were so rude because now you won't have to meet them. They sound angry at the world and not fun to meet.

I would never get a tattoo on any part of my body, principally because they cannot be removed and after many years the ink migrates; what may have originally been a beautiful piece of artwork eventually becomes an indistinct smudge.

The most famous person I knew to have a tattoo on each forearm was Sean Connery. After several decades they looked dreadful.

Crucially, I can never understand why anyone would get a tattoo on their face or neck.

Finally, if I was ever to be tattooed, I would have to cease being a blood dono; I was recently asked to attend a special session because a patient in hospital urgently required blood that matched my blood group and HLA-type.

The tatoos don't define a person - the person does! It's a silly, outdated view point for people to have.

To me it shows someone is old and blinkered if they think it's prostitutes and criminals.... Not got an open mind or one that thinks.....

The most famous person I knew to have a tattoo on each forearm was Sean Connery. After several decades they looked dreadful.

Crucially, I can never understand why anyone would get a tattoo on their face or neck.

How they look depends on how well you look after them and you can still give blood but have to wait until 4 months have passed.

I've got tattoos from 20 years ago and they still look like they did after they healed

I personally love tattoos and have around 15 myself. But it does still make me laugh when people see mine and realise I have them (99% of mine can be hidden under clothes) and sometimes attitudes do change towards you when they don't expect it.

Just ignore any negative people they are not worth the time,effort or explanation

Personally I'm not a fan. That's to say some look good on some people, but my opinion is that you're better off without them.

Traditional Polynesian tattoos however tell a story and therefore culture dictates.

Covering an ugly scar is better than nothing but tattoos take away from a beautiful person in western civilization. They're often cliche.
