When you recieve a friend request do you add them, or ignore?
Do you have in profile you will not add unless have spoken to person before hand?
Or do you send random friend requests if you like the sound of person or like look of thier pictures?
Myself have in profile wont add unless spoken to, dont add or send random requests |

Depends if they're hot or not
(Serious answer: usually I won't add random people without having exchanged messages. I like an idea who I am sharing my private photos with) |

I don't bother mentioning much of anything on my profile. The idiots won't read it anyway.
The type of people I want to meet wouldn't be sending friend requests without even speaking. I think it's rude and unbelievably stupid/ ignorant to send a friend request without even speaking to someone!
I just delete them. |

"Wots a friend?
Pffft "
Well thats me told innit...
I wont accept random requests... If someone is only after a face pic, they only need to ask... (Sometimes I will send one back, if I know them)

I just delete them all. If they've sent one they've clearly not read my profile so I wouldn't be meeting them anyway. Like to keep my private pics private- purely for people I'm considering meeting. |

Couples - check out private pics and if we like the look of them , and the verifications are good we may accept and keep .
Single woman - same as above
Single guys - delete immediately if we have never talked

If u have pics u don't want just any1 to see, I put them as private. Then you accept any1 from your local area who fits ur criteria, without worrying people you haven't spoken to have seen your pictures |

Random ones, I treat as an invitation to have a look at them whilst they're not looking.
One with pics in their friends gallery, I just wait til they go off line and then accept and look at their pics
Then delete
Ones with no pics in the friends gallery, I just delete straight away.
It's only fair - rude works both ways |

Isn't it better to mail and say "Let's be friends" first ?
A random request from someone you've never met, without any further mail or chat, just goes to show a lack of effort ....
which may well be reflected in anything they, do including the bedroom |

By sending a message 'sayin let's be friends'. Is the same as sending friend request. |

Well if they will send me an unsolicited request... "
I've done this a couple of times |

Let's just say it would fair to say that I could be accused of over delegating at work. |

If I get cheeky requests with no prior message - ill wait til they're logged off - add them - browse their pictures and then remove!!
If I like the look of them I'll message - but won't add until there's been a few messages exchanged!!! |

Well obviously I'd elaborate a bit more than that .....
Not going to post a whole example of a conversation on the forum |

I don't think it matters what you write in your profile about accepting friend requests or anything else, as you find that 75% of people don't read the profile itself and just go straight to the photos and then either send a message and or friend request, even if outside of age range or what you are looking for.
I myself have even been send a number of requests, mainly by guys but also girls who I have not spoken too, but personally dont mind at all, spoken to a few nice people this way.
As a general rule I don't do this, but then rules as there to be broken |

"Definatly don't accept off men we haven't met.
People too far away,or ones we don't fancy.
Will often accept and if no fav pics instantly delete it."
I've noticed that too! People hundreds of miles away that 'can't travel' seem the worst culprits!!
I guess they feel if they can't ever meet that there's a chance you'll let them have a perve over your private pics as an alternative!!
Yeah right!!!! |

*Forgot to add - the only exception I have to my friends rule is those I enjoy 'flanter' with on the forums!
There's several people id love to meet if for nothing more than a social and a face to face chat! Even those outside of my filter settings - and as one regular forumite told me last week - he's been trying to guess what some of the regulars look like for years - and still doesn't know! Lol
Have to say - I'm a little curious myself! (mentioning no names in particular! Lol) |

When we first came on this site we accepted friends requests from anyone who asked. After a while we realised most we would never ever meet, so the way we play it now is to just exchange facial pics and then if we all decide to meet we add as friends, knowing that we will meet again at some point. Random friends invites to me is like walking into a huge room full of people and just saying to some that they can be your friends without knowing anything about them!! Very strange to me. |

Me too! I do that as well!
Well, I've said "No friends requests until I know you" so if they send one then it's up to me how I use it...

Like many of the others, I have a quick look at who's sent the request - if they've not spoken, as my profile requests, I may ignore or wink at them, possibly message them, if they seem appropriate etc.
Most of them are chancers, looking to see more pics. |
