Fareham

Just read a book on The Beatles. It includes episodes on Brian Epstein, Elvis, Judy Garland, Joe Orton, Kenneth Williams and of course lots on John Lennon.

All I can say is a lot of it left me with a strong feeling that fame and wealth really aren’t everything.

Have to say Macca and Ringo come out of it the best.

Worthing

Imagine not being able to go out for a walk without people whispering "Is that them?".

Under the Duvet

I had a very mild brush with fame via a family member a few years back and that was enough to put me off.

Blatant fabricated stories in the press, and constant attention wherever they went...people thought nothing of coming over mid meal or mid private conversation to ask for photos and autographs.

And that was on a very lowish level of fame in the grand scheme of things.
