Do guys with clear face photos get messages from women?

I don’t think you need to have clear face pics in your public gallery, most people understand that not everyone wants their face on show, but I think you go need some sort of pic, rather than being a shadow avatar.
It’s reasonably common for women to not even read a message from a shadow. |

I don't have a face pic, and I've got messages... mainly from guys unfortunately, but some are from women.
Most have been from having chats on the forum and they continued on in private.
If you are chatty and have something interesting to say, I think people will chat. You just need to get involved and give it time. |

Maybe not an initial message, but it makes a difference whether they get a reply or not. |

Yes, I agree with this.
A shadow makes me think you are new, probably not even set up your profile yet and would be just trying your luck. |

I don't expect them in a public gallery, but if I reflect on it the last two guys I've met did have them lol
So yeah maybe? I think it's more that I'm drawn to faces so if I see one I like, I'll be more interested. |

On the contrary, it's when I send a face pic after getting an message or two that folk realise I really am my age, until that they must think I am younger but nothing you can do about a weather beaten face ha ha. I'm not sure what people expect from someone in their late 50s, we can't all look like George Clooney. |

I have never had any showing in public pics but have on friends pics and send one with a message, some people get back to me, some people say no thank you and some people ignore. All fine, everyone has their own likes and dislikes. |
