doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
That's how the widely misattributed quote goes and you see the result of it on here all the time. The same people doing the same things and then complaining when it doesn't get them the result they want, but the same result that they always get.
It must be entirely frustrating.

It's one of those lazy empty phrases. What is meant by 'insanity'? And doing the same thing multiple times can result in different outcomes.
It boils down to probability - there is always a slim probability that it will work.
Repeatedly roll a die and you will get different outcomes. Send enough 'FAF' messages and you will get a 'hit' (probably - just depends on how many is enough). |
