Mid life crisis and all that.
Always wanted a bike but never had the money, thinking of getting a bike.
Any biker's out there recommend a good bike for a first time rider ?
I've been driving since 1986 so it's not like I'm a newbie to the roads.
Also many years a cyclist so fully understand that driver's just don't care about anything with less than four wheels.
The difference being you can't do 100mph on a pushbike .
I am not wanting a "racing/ road " style more of something touring style for casual weekends etc..
I have no compulsion to drive at 150mph on the M1.
Or blast off at traffic lights.

these are the bikes ive tested for visordown.
fast street/naked track bike.
triumph street triple rs. high build quality, lightweight, handling.
cruiser. indian chief. massive engine, looks cool in black. latest tech on dash.
touring. bmw f900xr. every trick in the book, smooth, fast enough. see the world. carry the wife.
learner naked. yamaha mt-07. perfect for new riders. 700cc lightweight fun weekend blaster.
or if you want to spend a little extra on something special the new ducati monster +. 11k for a bike thats lighter than most, powerful enough, looks great and has all the features like quickshifter and cornering abs.
good luck ride safely |

I would highly recommend a Kawasaki ZZZ 600.
loads of fun to ride, really easy and forgiving, when going slightly to quick into corners ....
Great riding position, over the tank, or sitting up and chilling, also you can pick them up pretty cheap these days.
Ohh, and they look awesome |
