Hi, just curious of views on women who use the F=Word alot... FK
I'm inclined to do so...Only as a form of expression...I cant seem to help myself... I'm very aware it's unlady-like and when I hear another female efffing & blinding I actually cringe and realise how `bad` it sounds... I have heard over use of the F-Word is a tension release or a way of getting your point firmly across...I've also heard research has proven the majority of peeps who use FK alot in their lingo are apparently highly intelligent...
I guess what I'm asking is ... Is a `Lady` who uses the FK word alot a serious Turn=Off...& Yes I class myself as a `Lady`...I have tried to quit the use of this fking word
... But I always slip back into it again...

I think its more a matter of how its used. I can be more tolerant to hearing it if its used in a jokingly manner compared to letting off steam.
I never really been the type to swear much, the most I often say is shit and bloody. For me to use the F bomb I have to be seriously annoyed /irritated or shocked at someone or something xx |

"I do but it’s usually FFS multiple times a day usually muttered under my breath "
My colourful language mainly consists of...
WTF
FKing Hell
FFS
The Poor Fker
The Poor Bitch
The Fking Idiot
All used in humour or serious talk...
I actually never use Fk-Off for some reason & it's not a conscious decision not to use it.

"I know....I can hardly say FEMALE nowadays without being roasted by some female for it. "
I never liked the word Woman ever...so yes I use the word Female too...& Guy sounds so American & the word Men just sounds old... So I am inclined to use the word Male too |

It depends on the context but it can be a little cringy when it's constant from both men and women. I think someone who swears constantly like to be foul for a 'personality' but there's a time and place for it. |

"If it's used in normal day to day conversation with me then that's a red flag."
Defo don't use it in that way...if I'm very surprised by something...Shocked by something, vexed or annoyed or maybe find something extremely funny...the F`s come out then...I also include my F sayings here on this site as I would in speech... Be it on my bio, status updates or forum posts & comments... |

I don't find it a turn off.
In fact I quite fancy Debs from Dexter and loved her constant swearing.
The only thing that would put me off is if she were disrespectful of the situation (like swearing in front of someone else's kids) |

I think I agree with you, mate. Its all about context and intent. If they're not embarrassing themselves in front of a group of pensioners or kids I couldn't give a fuck!
I tend to swear quite a lot day to day. |

In Glasgow its not even a swear word.
Neither is the C bomb.
Both used within the structure of an every day sentence.
e.g. See that C*** , he's a brand new C***.
Meaning- that guy over there is a really nice guy.
e.g. come on tae f***.
Meaning - please, it would really help me out.
Lol x |

It's like a lot of things, some will be bothered by it, some won't, some will judge you for saying it, others won't.
Personally, I don't care what words a person uses, what is far more important to me is the thoughts and ideas they use words to express.

If I am in company where people are using the F word frequently in general conversation I find myself slipping into using it more myself, which I don't like doing.
It isn't an essential word to use at all apart from when you are actually talking about the act of sex (fucking.) Then it is entirely appropriate and I love saying "fuck me" when that is indeed what I want to happen!
I did let it slip out of my mouth recently when doing a workout with my partner.
The next excercise was announced on an app we use, and I immediately thought and articulated "fuck that!"
I think however in the moment that comment was justified lol.
