Some thoughts please everyone?
When I was younger we lived next door to a family and I would often babysit for them.
Late at night before they returned I would sneak into their bedroom and wear and steal her underwear.
One night they returned and the husband was in the car still. I heard footsteps coming upstairs and I threw the lingerie behind her dressing table and popped out of their bedroom just as the wife made it upstairs. I apologised saying I heard noises and all was ok luckily. Bar my erection!
Nothing ever happened between the wife and I but I do feel bad about my actions.
Should I get in touch with her through social media and apologise?

Was maybe hoping she’d enjoy the apology...somehow?!

Sounds like you're just going stir crazy from being locked up. 
Just keep it as a memory and don't do it again, unless with the person's consent.

I highly doubt she would enjoy the apology and probably be really annoyed, creeped out that you mentioned this 15 years later...

Women very rarely enjoy an apology for something like that. They very rarely enjoy the thought of a man invading their privacy for sexual gratification either.
My guess is that she would have put two and two together anyway. Underwear doesn't just throw itself behind a dressing table.
Please don't ever think that something like this is in anyway a turn on or enjoyable for a woman. |

Personally I’ve never felt safe allowing them in when I am there, I’ve always wanted someone else with me for backup. No way I’d trust them alone in my house. |

This is vile and if someone messaged me telling me they'd been wearing my underwear while babysitting my children I'd be disgusted.
You should never have breached her trust like that, it isn't hot, it isn't a compliment, it's downright disrespectful. Especially when being trusted to look after her kids. |

I could rant all day at the damage this kind of behaviour does on so many different levels, not just to the women whos trust is betrayed but to those of us 'men' who have our own women's underwear and get tarred with this brush because many think we do this too.....we don't, we buy our own.
