Try not to use moisturiser right before primer. Moisturise when you wake up, and should be absorbed enough for primer when you get to it. Don't forget spf after primer  |

As others have said moisture with a spf containing moisturiser, let it sink in for a good while, then primer and makeup, a good tip is to use an eye primer on your nose area instead if you struggle with it getting claggy in that area and coming off easily x |

No it’s not foundation.
The main purpose of primer is to smoothen out the skin, making it look more polished and even. Consider it like prepping the skin to create a canvas for the makeup you'll be putting on your face. Primer fills in the pores, blurs our blemishes, and gives smoothness to the skin.

Both but leave a good hour for your moisturiser to sink in. Also make sure you use products with the same base when it comes to primer and foundation |
