Assuming you have one ... what do you have hanging above your fireplace?

I think it says a lot about a person.

I have Klee reproduction called Connected to the Stars. Bella has her self of course

A large mirror that's very heavy. It was the previous owners and I made sure they left it as it's beautiful.

A clock at the moment. The big mirror is upstairs and needs 2 people to get it downstairs and 2 to hang it.

I'm only one

Nothing.

Years ago my husband hung a mirror above it. It was handy as I could watch the world go by while I lay on the sofa.

Just the sky and the stars. We don't have a fireplace, just a firepit. Love sitting there under a clear sky. It's very tranquil watching for satelites and space junk passing overhead whilst sat next to an open fire.

We often (weather permitting) sit in silence at the firepit, but put the world to rights in the hot tub...

Sorry, got carried away...

Lovely guys thanks for sharing

My favourite is the skylight above the fire pit sounds idyllic.

I also like the sound of a flint stone wall - I'm assuming that means a wall made of flint rather than a flintstones wall
