As far as I know most are accepting walk ins.

But it's an impossible question to answer without knowing what the op actually likes in pubs.

Your best bet is a wander around the northern quarter.. it's all bars so you will definitely find something you like

I assume it depends on how busy they are {especially if they don't have an outside seating area), and what the weather is like in Manchester

I’d give Manchester a wide berth at the moment considering Bolton is only a few miles away.
