"I have slightly more than 30...
But live each day as it comes, smile and laugh when you can and don't sweat the small stuff x"
The last bit is me to a tee, I ALWAYS sweat the small stuff.. it is the catholic upbringing coming out of me
But if I was given 30 days to live I would do everything I ever wanted to do but with friends and family |

Make as many of my kids wishes come true as possible, whisk the wife a way for a romantic weekend away, finish any of the outstanding jobs on the house (so I’m leaving it right for the family)...have a series of parties with all my family and friends.....spend the 30 days laughing, and making others laugh, as much as possible .....and tick off as many sex-bucket-list items as possible. |

I think 150,000 people die every day - of something - somewhere in the world, so by my calculations and based on a population of 7.5 billion, that’s a 0.002% chance it could be you.
2 in a 100,000.
Those are far better odds than winning the lottery.
So: Get living |

"These posts make me uncomfortable. I know it’s posted in jest but for some it’s a reality.

Exactly. And when people are told they only have a month left to live they are too weak to enjoy it. |

I'd be fucking crying every day!! I honestly couldn't cope. I'd be devastated and try to make the best of it but knowing I'd never get to see my daughter grow or make memories with my family would destroy me.
When my dad got told he only had weeks left to live it absolutely ruined him.
I admire those who soldier on and live life despite tragic news. I don't know how they do it, they are so incredibly strong. |

I think you would surprise yourself with your resilience, resolve and strength of character, when faced with something like that. X |

"When my husband was told he only had a few days left he literally shit himself"
I'm so sorry.
I still remember them telling my dad and it's one of the most difficult things I've ever experienced, having someone I love being told they are going to die very soon. And if it hurts that much to witness someone else go through it I can not even comprehend how they must feel when they get that news.
Sending you a virtual hug. |
