Just wondering… been using this site for years. It seems that those who want pleasant company and intimacy are dwindling… tell me it’s not all rough sex, crudeness and cheaters? |

For me I love intimacy over rough and ready sex with someone I hardly know on a meet or anything.
Even in a club setting I prefer nice comfortable sex, and of course at least getting to know who I am intimate with.. Call me old fashioned I care not
But to me you cant beat a bit of intimacy  |

Intimacy is not something I can feel with a person I barely know. We've been together 40 years, we have an extremely close bond and a deep intimacy, nothing we experience with our casual partners can come close. It feels wrong *to me* to describe the things we feel with other people as intimacy, friendship maybe, a superficial connection for sure and definitely respect but in my opinion it devalues intimacy to describe every connection that way. |
