If I was their manager I would tell them that VAR is the first step on the road to extreme surveillance of football pitches all around the country.
That it stands for Visual Audio Recording
That they are certainly keeping tabs on you!
Might affect their performance!
Were actually being watched!
Here's to the future...tonight...when it is claimed they will be being watched...by fewer people than they were being watched by before.
Hence the increase in VAR. |

Here's to the future...which is tonight...my team Burnley is playing Liverpool being watched by a real audience but in fewer numbers than before say pre-covid.
