I am phobic of deep water, so a cruise is pretty low down on my holiday list
The last time I was on a ship was 1989
It was an overnight ferry sailing
I got d*unk, very d*unk, very quickly to allay my fears and got my head down in my cabin til it was time to get off |

"Any other Fabbers enjoy cruising (of the on a ship kind) and how long before your next cruise?
We are going to try one of the ones that go around the UK just to get away."
I did my first cruise a year or two ago. I loved it. Norway, Iceland, Shetland islands and Faroe islands. I'd love to do another. Around the UK sounds like a great idea, I'd do that if I found a good deal |

I've never been on a cruise - I've been on crap boats around the Bay of Islands in New Zealand for a few days - does that count
It was beautiful!
I quite fancy a big cruise liner with a cabaret and a buffet - does that mean I'm getting old?

"I watched the new p&o ship Iona come into Southampton waters on Sunday, she is massive and I want to see the fjords on her next year "
We are booked for fjords next year, been cancelled twice but should be fine by then...give us a wave |
