if you arranged to see someone on fab who was going to pick you up for a meet, how long would you be prepared to wait over the time scale? Taken into consideration they hadnt told you they were going to be late? |

For one moment, when I saw the name of this thread, my heart sank. I'd maybe give them half an hour. If I hadn't heard, then I'd maybe message 20 minutes into the half hour and if no reply, I'd go find someone, sorry something, else to do at the half hour mark. |

Have they said they were on the way?
How far were they travelling?
Are you being picked up from your home or another location?
If they hadn’t let me know they had set off then I would assume they are not coming - not that they cannot lie and say they have set off but haven't.
If they are travelling a distance, on the motorway, then you could allow for traffic.
If you are meeting at your home, you can get changed and always change back if/when they show up.
If you are meeting at a pub or other location, I wouldn’t stay around longer than 20-30 minutes.
