Somewhere near here

Start early, otherwise I feel like I’m clock watching and waiting to go to work

Being able to do the school run is important to me , so I choose not to start before 9.

I prefer an early start. I can't relax properly if I know I have work to be done later

I've worked most shifts in various jobs over the years, but treat them all as if they were regular days, i.e. get up about an hour before the shift starts, half a gallon of tea, couple of slices of toast, then off to work. No clock watching for me
