"What qualifications does one need to be a (good) swinger ...?
Why would someone need qualifications?"
Again it is a light hearted thread - I am not actually asking for qualifications such as GCSE and A levels or degrees - I am asking people what personality traits they feel are needed for being a good swinger. And a good swinger is not defined by scientif criteria either - it is just a bit of fun for those who wish to take part |

Then you are looking for attributes rather than qualifications. |

The patience of Job, determination, persistence, breadth of mind and thought, forgiveness, empathy and understanding, laissez-faire, a good traveller, charisma, class personality and wit, and somewhere down the bottom physical stamina and a damn good shag.
Fraid I don't suffer fools gladly tho'

Not with a sky remote, that's for sure
In all fairness can you realistically measure them... or just look for that in others. Does that then NSA things 'lucky dip' and the in-depth analysis of people for desirables more like dating....?

Glad we've got that sorted out, I've been onto Sydney University, fecking phone call's cost me a fortune, but they said if I collect loads of photos they'll give me a degree.....I've asked for Sheila Ferguson
Semi-serious answer, thick skin, sense of humour (tho' some seem to be sadly lacking in both departments),what I can only define as "nous" to help sort the wheat from the chaff....
I've personally got 3 GCSEs (Gloriously Cute Slippery Entrances) that I love to use as well |

" No, you cant - measure them. Again I am being playful, I agree with you that there is an element of (un)lucky dip in swinging and the indepth analysis is left better for the medium to long term relationships |

Absolutely... so somewhere inbetween that is probably perfect.
It's a difficult game, and probably why so many single guys put up the 'I'm having no luck' threads. If they're an unknown and would rather remain unknown to others in a swinging population that likes some attributes known, then no small wonder they have difficulties. But how many apply the marketing mix to their profiles?

I would say the qualifications that you need are definitely a sense of humour, a good communicator, an acceptance of oneself, emotionally stable, assertive and confident |
